Fintrac is currently seeking a Value Chain Manager for the upcoming five-year, USAID-funded Feed the Future Value Chain (FTF VC) activity in Mozambique. FTF VC’s objective will be to improve the productivity and profitability of targeted value chains (groundnut, sesame, soybean, common beans, cowpeas, pigeon peas, banana, and cashew) through interventions that facilitate improvements in how markets function.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in an agriculture or a business related field
- 5 years of experience or more as the technical manager for donor-funded value chain, M4P, and/or Market Systems Development projects
- Demonstrated success using facilitation in at least one of the following: the USAID value chain approach, M4P, or Market Systems Development approach, which led to greater competitiveness and inclusiveness in markets
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
- Demonstrated experience with conducting value chain analysis and developing value chain work plans
- Experience working with value chains in Mozambique preferred
