PSI/Ethiopia is looking for a Director of Treatment and Targeted Integrated Services (DTTS) to oversee HIV treatment and service delivery activities under an anticipated 5-year USAID-funded HIV Key and Priority Populations Activity in Ethiopia. This position is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and is contingent on award.
- Lead the scale-up of community integrated services, including: ART, HIVST, HIV prevention products, and care and treatment
- Lead integration of key and priority population program with other USAID prevention, care, and treatment mechanisms
- Standardize and roll out differentiated care models (DCM) related to key and priority populations to different regions within Ethiopia
- Design and roll out a community-level continuum of care model that captures the three 90-90-90 targets
- Work closely to develop, refine, and track monitoring performance indicators using DHIS2
- Serve as a prime point of contact for USAID on ART services at drop-in centers
- Lead the design and roll out of community ART among key population at integrated clinical services sites and ART sites
- Represent PSI, and the needs of key and priority populations, to the Ministry of Health and its structures, to advocate effectively for a standardized implementation process
- Ensure program and data quality assurance and improvement
- Co-lead qualitative and quantitative research on community ART
Qualifications
- M.D. or MPH
- A minimum of seven years of experience in HIV prevention, care, and treatment services at different levels within Ethiopia or similar settings
- Five years of experience in contributing to national-level strategic decisions and thought leadership around community-level scale up of HIVST, community ART, and DICs services as community level structures
- Training in ART management and guideline development is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in thought leadership within the HIV and global public health spheres
- Experience implementing Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), Test and Start, and other innovative interventions preferred
- Fluency in Amharic
