Purpose of the position

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fleet vehicles.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

 Maintain Fleet Vehicles.

 Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on fleet vehicles and form machinery.

 Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair vehicles.

 Work according to established policies and procedures.

 Perform Engine, gearbox and differential Overhauls.

 Service and maintain fleet.

 Perform preventative maintenance schedule.

 Perform field repairs.

 Perform gas and electrical welding.

 Complete daily maintenance, parts and repair logs.

 Ordering and maintain parts stock level’s.

 Communicate with other mechanics.

 Maintain and secure work tools.

 Clean and maintain work area.

 Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 Provide on‐the‐job training to employees.

 Performs administrative duties associated with work orders and schedules staff to ensure

projects are completed.

 Evaluates staff in accordance with established policy.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

 Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a

high school diploma or equivalent.

 Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas:

HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry,

piping systems, and PLC programming.

Portuguese will be preferable

 Ability to lift up to 15 kg required

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting

of materials up to 15 kg. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to

include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.

Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
