Purpose of the position
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fleet vehicles.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Maintain Fleet Vehicles.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on fleet vehicles and form machinery.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair vehicles.
Work according to established policies and procedures.
Perform Engine, gearbox and differential Overhauls.
Service and maintain fleet.
Perform preventative maintenance schedule.
Perform field repairs.
Perform gas and electrical welding.
Complete daily maintenance, parts and repair logs.
Ordering and maintain parts stock level’s.
Communicate with other mechanics.
Maintain and secure work tools.
Clean and maintain work area.
Other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide on‐the‐job training to employees.
Performs administrative duties associated with work orders and schedules staff to ensure
projects are completed.
Evaluates staff in accordance with established policy.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a
high school diploma or equivalent.
Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas:
HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry,
piping systems, and PLC programming.
Portuguese will be preferable
Ability to lift up to 15 kg required
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting
of materials up to 15 kg. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to
include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
