Background
Ethiopia Civil Society Coalition for Scaling Up Nutrition (ECSC-SUN) is part of the global initiative of the Scaling Up Nutrition movement is being hosted by Save the Children. With the primary purpose of increase public and relevant sectors’ awareness on nutrition and ensure improved nutrition governance and raise the profile and political attention given to nutrition in Ethiopia. For fulfilment of the above objective ECSC-SUN currently supporting the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) in developing and finalizing of the National Nutrition Program phase II document. Given the ECSC- SUN visibility and the request from the FMoH, Save the Children is seeking an experienced and competent consultants and professionals that would be able to do editorial, proof reading and designing of an English version of similar document (NNP phase II).
The professional consultant should be based in Ethiopia for the purpose of delivering the required work. The successful consultants must provide samples of previous work, preferably translating materials and documents related to public health and nutrition, demonstrating expertise in the areas cited below, and must be available to work within a short time frame.
Performance Period
The consultancy will be carried out within three weeks period of time in Addis Ababa.
Tasks
The selected candidate will be tasked with the following:
Editorial, proof reading and designing of National Nutrition Program document – requires excellent English language and designing skill.
Key Responsibilities
The professional consultant will do the proof reading, editorial and designing work. The document will be used for the endorsement of the NNP and roll out in general. The consultants must be responsive to technical briefs and incorporating feedbacks provided by FMoH.
Scope of Work and Deliverables
The Consultant /Translator will conduct the following tasks:
NNP phase II
Edition, proof reading and designing work of the English version. The editorial work need to maintain the context mean only English language accuracy will need to be edited,
