The Role
Plan International is looking for Country Head of Finance to play a vital role in our mission to achieve lasting improvements in the quality of life of deprived children in developing countries.
As Country Head of Finance you will be responsible for providing timely and reliable financial information and analysis that leads to effective decision making in country.
You will also participate in the country management team, lead business planning process; manage accounting and treasury functions; produces financial reporting and analysis; implement internal financial controls.
The Person
In order to succeed in this challenging and varied role you will need strong knowledge of and experience of applying financial accounting controls and knowledge and awareness of generally applicable financial policies and procedures.
Ability to understand financial reporting standards and apply these is preferred.
Previous line management experience is also required.
A BA/MBA in Accounting and an ACCA qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
