Purpose
The consultancy will be responsible for establishing, building, and maintaining partnerships with a wide range of existing and emerging partners for effective network of key stakeholders for each of the areas of focus.
How can you make a difference?
Key function, accountabilities and related duties/tasks:
Lead efforts to mobilize funds to support the 1Million By 2021 from public and private partners including identifying new opportunities for partnerships towards a robust ecosystem for the Initiative.Nurture relationships with existing customers to strengthen partnerships, secure renewals, generate new leads and explore opportunities to promote the 1 Million by 2021 InitiativeAnalyze and report the effectiveness of the partnership, forecast strategic changes, and report on key engagementsServe as a key thought partner with stakeholders and partners to identify opportunities for growth and innovation for the 1 Million By 2021 including working with internal Youth Division and AUC teams to create and manage the partnership, create and drive the execution of new collaborations.Create outreach campaigns and roadshows focused on developing a strong pipeline of new partners to expand brand awareness globally.Represent the AUC at events, conferences to grow brand recognition, identify opportunities for growth and build relationships with key leaders in the 4E’s of the 1Million By 2021 spaceEnsure the timely preparation of regular and annual programme status reports including ensuring all key partners frequently receive written and face to face reports.Expected Deliverableand Timeline

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Social Sciences, International Relations, Government, Public or Project Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, or other relevant disciplines.A minimum of 8[Eight]yearsof relevant professional experience insocial development planning and management in adolescent development related areas is required. Experience working in an emergency/humanitarian context is considered as an asset. Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.Fluency in English is required.
