As DM&E Capacity Building Specialist, you will review and strengthen WV Mozambique’s Design, Monitoring & Evaluation (DM&E) capacity, practice and structure. The aim is to develop and lead the delivery of a strategic, well-structured DM&E capacity building plan – to optimise existing strengths and identify and address areas for improvement. Strong DM&E capacity is essential for WV Moz to gather and analyse information regarding the context, design programmes that effectively target the most vulnerable and produce a meaningful, sustainable improvement in Child Wellbeing. This post is critical in supporting WV Moz to grow its in-house DM&E expertise, decentralising DM&E technical capacity across NO, GAM and field teams and assuring that WV is well positioned to continue delivering, evidencing and sharing its impact in the years ahead.
Requirements include:
- Minimum 5 years World Vision DM&E experience, with proven track record in delivering high quality LEAP 3 DM&E products.
- Must have experience of working internationally, demonstrating a good understanding of how to adapt approach and style in context and culturally appropriate ways.
- Strong DM&E capacity building experience, including: leading needs assessment and developing and delivering 70:20:10 capacity building plan.
- Fluent English essential.
- Portuguese language skills an advantage..
- Work environment: Based in the National Office with regular travel to the field.
- Travel: up to 30% Domestic travel is required.
