GIZ support to the AU Skills Initiative for Africa Project would like to invite all interested bidders who are eligible to participate in this public bid and submit their proposals for a “**Mapping Study of qualifications frameworks in Africa (phase 1 in the development process of the African Continental Qualification Framework)”**

Criteria

1. African based consultancy

2. Qualified staff (minimum of 3 experts incl. team leader):

Minimum Master’s Degree (education, social/political science, data science or similar) and proven expertise and experience in:

· National and regional qualification frameworks in Africa

· National and transnational qualifications frameworks in the world

· Higher education systems and policy frameworks in Africa

· Technical and vocational education and training systems and policies and lifelong learning systems in Africa

· Recognition of qualifications and learning in Africa and in other regions of the world

· Education and training systems in French speaking African countries

1. Research experience in the field (proven by publications, projects etc.)

2. Knowledge of the African Union and RECs; institutions and decision-making processes as well as relevant strategies and projects

3. Knowledge of AU international cooperation partners, especially GIZ and EU

4. Language skills (highest level of fluency – written, read, spoken): English (all experts), French (one expert)
