Here’s where you come in:

As Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager, Ethiopia, you will ensure technical quality, design of annual plan, progress monitoring, facilitating evaluations and knowledge management on the best practices and learning. More specifically, you will work closely work with IFPRI, Hawassa University and Ambo University to facilitate the undertaking of various research, preparation of discussion forum regional and nationally, facilitate the production of policy briefs, and publication of research outputs on internationally reputable journals.

Requirements include:

  • Educational level required: MSc/MA Degree in Economics, Statistics, Development Studies and other related fields.
  • Similar senior MEL leadership experience working with a large USAID grant-funded program, preferably with USAID/FFP experience.
  • Excellent understanding and practical experiences with USAID’s M&E, evaluation, FFPMIS, ADS, DDL, and Reporting requirements, guidance and compliances.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of work experience preferably from INGO.
  • Experience and skills in using statistical packages such as SPSS, STATA, Eviews for data entry, analysis, and reporting and planning and implementation of M&E systems.
