Purpose of the Assignment
The purpose of this consultancy is to carry out substantive editing, fact-checking and, in some cases, writing support, for reports, studies, guidance notes, results frameworks, proposals and other documents under development in the UNICEF Ethiopia Child Protection Section to high publication standards in accordance with UNICEF's Style Guidebook.
To achieve this purpose, UNICEF is soliciting the services of a consultant with experience in child protection programming and results-based management as well as in editing, fact-checking and writing. The services are required for 60 days spread over a six month period.
Assignment Tasks and Expected Deliverables
Under the supervision of the Chief, Child Protection (P5), the consultant will be responsible for editing, fact-checking and some writing for the above mentioned types of documents and reports and apply following strategies:
