Opportunity Summary:
Land O’ Lakes International Development seeks senior level dairy policy expert for short-term assignment in Mozambique. In support of a new 5-year USDA Food for Progress dairy industry development program, the 2-3 week assignment will focus on identifying barriers to entry for the expansion of the Mozambique dairy sector (e.g. drug registration, etc.). The consultant will identify major barriers, prioritized areas for intervention, plan, timelines, etc.
Timing: January, 2017
Qualifications:
• Five plus years’ experience in dairy policy analysis in developing country context;
• Prior experience in policy analysis for major donor funded dairy programs in developing countries;
• Masters degree in agricultural economics, business or related field; and
• Portuguese fluency strongly preferred**.**
