Established in 1949, SOS Children's Villages is a dynamic social development international organization working globally to meet the needs and protect the interests and rights of orphaned and vulnerable children.
Responsibilities:
She/he will Provide Finance & Controlling Services to the International offices and Member Associations with responsibility for:
· Contributing to strategic planning and implementation,
· Participating in the development and updates of financial policies and quality standards and their implementation,
· Ensuring provision of financial information for linking of needs and funds,
· Coordinating the allocation of funds,
· Monitoring budgeting processes,
· Monitoring budget execution within the given financial frames,
· Providing support in the financial aspects of program plans and proposals,
· Monitoring financial data and financial key performance indicators,
· Providing support in crisis.
· Supporting liquidity planning,
· Coordinating the implementation of risk management measures
· Supporting the management of banking relationships
· Ensuring timely provision of quality accounting data,
· Managing the flow of information for donor liaison
Position Requirements:
· A post-graduate financial qualification,
· Over 8 years’ experience
· Experience in supporting multi locations/countries
· A passion for capacity building
· She/he has been in a management position for at least 3 years
· Provided leadership in auditing and other risk mitigation initiatives
